Wickenburg Christian Academy was incorporated in July of 1983 in the classrooms at Calvary Baptist Church in Wickenburg. Over the course of nearly 30 years, the staff & families at the academy have built a legacy of faith, impacting hundreds of families for Christ. And now the 2012-2013 season will complete our 30th Year!!

The purpose of this project is to reconnect with those families & individuals who have been involved with the academy in the past. By finding out where they are now, what they are doing, & how their experience at WCA had a positive impact on their life, we will be able to:

celebrate the successes in the ministry & impact of WCA
-
document the stories of previous students
-
build a list of potential supporters & donors
-
engage alumni with the academy’s current endeavors & plans for the future

Strategy: The initial work of organizing the “Legacy Project” will serve as an important part of a larger public relations/marketing effort. Once our database is created & completed to date, our task force will have a tool to use as we get more intentional about staying connected with those who hold our academy dear. Our new graduates & supporters will now easily be added from this day forward.

Members of the Legacy Project Task Force will be given the responsibility to compile existing info into a usable database format including graduating class lists, staff, & supporters from 1983 through 2012. In addition to organizing the info we currently have, the Task Force will need to solicit additional contact info from any and all sources. (mailing lists, Facebook, directories, etc)
