Elective Tracks

 
 
Missions
The student who is interested in local, national or overseas missions, can use their experience towards high school credit.  Your advisor can help locate missions organizations, or if you are already in contact with a missions group, the information and specifics may be brought to your advisor for verification.  An essay based on your experience coupled with a post-interview is the basis for a grade on the credit.
 
Sports
The student who is interested in sports, be it golf, football, track, tennis, baseball, softball, soccer...can use their sports experience towards high school credit.  Program must be pre-approved by your advisor and every 150 hours constitutes a credit towards Physical education or as an elective.
 
Rodeo
The student who is interested in livestock, rodeo or 4H, can now use their experience towards high school credit.  Hours must be logged of time affiliated with the organization you have had pre-approved by your advisor.  Every 150 hours, constitutes a credit which can be attributed to either Physical Education, or an elective.
 
Theatre Tech
The student who is interested in learning and helping behind the scenes of any stage time.  Sound board, lights, microphones, if this is an interest of yours, logging your hours towards credit may be of great benefit.  Whether it is at a church or helping the local Webb Center staff, this provides a great learning experience.  Every 160 hours constitutes a credit in either fine arts or as an elective.
 
Visual Arts
The student who is interested in learning or gaining confidence any number of the visual arts, can use their experience towards high school credit.  Program must be pre-approved and hours logged for credit association,every 160 hours constitutes a credit towards fine arts or an elective.

ATOMIK
The student who is interested in using their live arts talent to minister to peers, can gain multiple high school credits through the ATOMIK 12 program.  Students interested in this track must audition and go through an intensive interview process.  The student desiring to join the ministry of ATOMIK 12 must be able to periodically complete school on the road as tours are used to bring dramatic messages to other schools as well as churches.  An intensive practice schedule is a daily part of this track.
 
Live Arts
The student who is interested in learning or gaining confidence in live arts such as Karate, Dance, Vocal, Drama and musical instruments, may benefit from using classes and practice time toward high school credit.  Programs at In Step School of Dance are pre-approved, or you can choose your own class or stay with an existing teacher, with pre-approval of potential credit from your advisor.  Hours must be logged for credit association and every 150 hours constitutes a credit towards fine arts or an elective.
