We want to inform you of WCA’s approach to COVID this year. Please read through these six points and if you have any questions, concerns, or comments feel free to contact anyone on the WCA Administrative Team.
COVID Approach for the 2021-2022 School Year:
- Masks are optional for all faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
- If your child is feeling sick please keep them home.
- If you or your child test positive for COVID please quarantine yourself from school for the CDC recommended 10 days from onset of symptoms.
- If there is a positive COVID case in your child’s class we will make you aware, but we will not require contact tracing or quarantine for exposure. However, we reserve the right to adjust this policy on a case by case basis if we see evidence of more cases arising in a particular group.
- We will continue to monitor the recommendations from Governor Ducey and our local officials and prayerfully seek God’s wisdom for any adjustments to this policy.
- There will be limited online streaming of classes this year. In most cases, we will use the make-up work policy from the handbook for absences.
Blessings,
Barb Willis
