At Wickenburg Christian Academy we view education from a perspective that takes into account the "whole" spectrum of school life, from the preschooler through the high school graduate. It is our prayer that the quality of Christian education and leadership that we promote will propel our students further in their goals with an advanced development.

Direct your AZ income tax...
by Art Pulis, republished with permission
Any tax expert will tell you that now’s the time to do your tax planning. Don’t wait until April 15. A good decision now will direct your state tax money to a local cause and not to Phoenix where the state government will spend it as they decide.
We in Arizona have a unique opportunity available only here and in a couple of other states. Subject to certain limitations, we can designate up to $400 of our state tax bill to a local cause including the CAP office, Habitat for Humanity, or New Life Pregnancy Center. We can designate another $400 for certain extra-curricular expenses at the public school.
In addition, a couple can also designate up to $2,106 for private school tuition scholarships... That means that in total couples could direct up to $2,906 through this program. Think of what that could do locally. If 1,000 families took full advantage of the program, the result would be close to a whopping $3 million in the local economy directed to helping less fortunate people or educating our children.
Making this happen is actually easier than you might think. If you are employed, your employer can redirect your state tax withholding and you won’t see or feel a thing. All you have to do is ask. If you don’t withhold, any tax professional has the forms and can help you with the election.
You can donate directly to Arizona Private Education Scholarship Fund (APESF) here to make a secure donation to Wickenburg Christian Academy. (You will be directed through the APESF website).
