Founded in 1983, the Wickenburg Christian Academy provides quality Christ centered education and child care in an interdenominational environment. WCA priorities include:

The Wickenburg Christian Academy Administrator and teaching staff is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of individuals from the Wickenburg community who are in good standing with a local church. Wickenburg Christian Academy thanks the Lord for the privilege of serving children, families and the Wickenburg community for over twenty years. Through His grace we have provided education of the total being; spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially. We believe wholeheartedly that God personally and uniquely created each child entrusted to us. Therefore, we welcome the opportunity to partner with families in equipping and encouraging the children to become all that God intended them to be. WCA provides daily opportunities for children to gain a deeper understanding of the Lord and how His Word, the Bible, is foundational to their understanding of God’s love and will for their lives. Consequently, Scripture is central to the academic excellence provided as well as a basis to dealing with everyday school happenings. Students are encouraged to worship the Lord In all they do throughout each day by studying diligently and interacting with others with respect and compassion. WCA students are discovering fun, hands-on learning in science class.
Wickenburg Christian Academy has implemented a new Science Program to enhance learning. Mrs. Walker’s science class is designed to meet the Arizona State Educational Standards for Science at each grade level. Sharyn Walker is exclusively teaching science for 3rd-8th grade. She is excited this year, because each grade receives small group instruction in a designated science classroom. This unique and dynamic classroom environment develops young scientist to further explore their love of science. At WCA, the student will accomplish various activities that are designed to engage curiosity and imagination while exploring the world of science.
Wickenburg Christian Academy is proud to congratulate Maureen Rigo for her outstanding teaching service of twenty years. She is respected and honored by all who know her, because she “makes a difference” in the life of her students. She has an indisputable testimony, one of integrity and devotion to the Lord. She is a professional educator who has received many award winning accomplishments throughout her career. WCA is proud to have such a remarkable teacher.
