At Wickenburg Christian Academy we view education from a perspective that takes into account the "whole" spectrum of school life, from the preschooler through the high school graduate. It is our prayer that the quality of Christian education and leadership that we promote will propel our students further in their goals with an advanced development.
Sports are Back!
Our fall sports teams are off and running!
The Lady Lions Volleyball team schedule continues this week - come out to the Hassayampa Round Gym to cheer them on! Coach Monte is back this year, with the help of his wife Roni, and assistant Samantha and the team has 10 great players excited for a full season!
The JH volleyball team has their first games this week. Practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30 - 5 p.m. at WCA. First home game is October 2. Many thanks to our new coaches this year, Michal and Angela!
Archery Club meets Monday afternoons this year, from 3:30 - 5 p.m. at WCA, for grades 5-12. We have the very exciting opportunity of hosting the season's first fun shoot on Saturday, September 27, at Wickenburg Sportsmen's Club. If you can help volunteer on the range or with concessions, we'd love to have you! Please contact the school office for more details.
Please note that all high school participants are required by our sport association (CAA) to have a yearly sports physical. Grades 5-8 are not required to have a sports physical, but it is recommended.

Give and Receive!
As fall quickly approaches and winter rests on the horizon, we’re getting ready for the cooler weather and holiday mayhem. While we obviously think giving is great, this season we want to expand our focus.
It has been said, “It’s better to give than to receive.” But wouldn’t it be better if you could give AND receive? Well when you donate to APESF, that’s exactly what you do!
As those of you who have participated in the past know, Arizona allows its taxpayers to give a private school tax credit donation (up to $1,053 for individuals and $2,106 for married couples this year) and receive a dollar-for-dollar credit against their Arizona income tax obligation.
You give money. You give children a chance they may not otherwise have. You give a community support. But you also receive that money back. You receive the benefit of knowing you’ve helped someone. And you receive a say in where the tax dollars you owe anyway go.
If you want to be a part of what’s happening, take a few minutes to donate online today. You may recommend a school or student with your donation, and you’ll receive your receipt within minutes.
"How to Afford Christian Education" financial assistance workshops: There are 3 workshops scheduled so as to best fit everyone's schedules. Please RSVP to the WCA office if you are planning to attend one of these sessions.
