WCA is taking applications for the 2022-2023 school year for the following positions:
Teachers:
For forty years, Wickenburg Christian Academy has inspired, instructed, and encouraged students to realize their God-given potentials. Due to steady growth over the past few years, additional teachers are needed for primary and secondary grades. The WCA teacher exhibits a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and demonstrates in word and action a biblical worldview. The teacher comes alongside our students daily, seeking opportunities for life-on-life mentoring both inside and outside the classroom. It is in these integral moments that we come together seeking wisdom, cultivating virtue, and inspiring service in the life of every student, K-12th grade.
Content areas needed: 2nd Grade; 4th Grade; Junior High/High School--History, Literature, Language Arts, Apologetics, General Science.
Qualified applicants will hold the following:
Instructional Aide:
WCA is accepting applications for instructional aide positions for primary (k-6) grades for the 2022-23 school year. The primary role is to provide the support teachers need to maximize their instructional time. May include providing one-on-one assistance and small-group instruction. Will include lunch/recess supervision. Approx 16-30 hours per week. Monday-Thursday.

WCA is a flourishing ministry located 60 miles northwest of Phoenix in a small rural town with Western roots (learn more at www.outwickenburgway.org). Established in 1983, the school has offered grades K-8 for nearly forty years, adding a preschool program in 2005 and the High School program in 2011, offering a comprehensive four-year program for grades 9-12. Campus wide enrollment is approximately 200 students, from Preschool through High School.

- A vibrant relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ
- BA degree preferred
- Classroom teaching experience preferred
- Evidence of a call from the Lord to teach
- Skill in classroom management
- Ability to establish and maintain partnerships with parents and students
- Ability to integrate technology applications to enhance instruction
